Jay, you were still in Redmond Junior High when you started drawing pencil drawings for my poetry cards. At 17, you made the drawing of the buffalo, your first pen and ink drawing. From then on, you were anxious to draw for all of my cards. Even now as a busy electrical engineer, you always tell me you will find the time to work on a card if I need you. I treasure this special connection that we have and am so proud of your work and the outstanding man that you are. Like the lines in the book I sent you many years ago says:
I'll love you forever,
I'll love for always,
As long as I'm living
My baby you'll be
